Registering on MARIA’S BAG allows you to check on the status of your order, as well as fast check out for future orders. You can register in the upper right corner of every page. Once you are a registered user, simply sign in to access your account.

You can sign up for the MARIA’S BAG newsletter at the bottom left of every page. You will receive periodic updates on new styles, events, and restocks. You can unsubscribe at any time by selecting “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any newsletter.

 

CART

Products on www.mariasbag.com are sold on a first come, first served basis. While you are in the process of checking out, you may receive a “sold out” notification in the event another customer has completed the purchase of the last available item. Please remember that our bags and accessories are one-of-a kind and if one item is “Sold out” it won’t be restocked.

 

PAYMENT

All payments made on www.mariasbag.com are secure. All transactions are in US Dollars. We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover. Payment via bank transfer, check or cod is not accepted. We don’t accept orders via telephone at this time.

 

RETURNS

MARIA’S BAG bags and accessories are entirely unique because of the craftsmanship behind each of them; we strongly suggest you choose carefully the desired item, as at this the time we don’t offer returns of any kind.

 

REPAIRS

As part of our After Care Service we offer a free Repair Service for any of our products for up to 12 months after purchase, and up to 24 months after purchase subject to an agreed quote and the availability of the materials.

 

Please note that a valid proof of purchase is needed and that this benefit cannot be passed on when buying or selling any items second hand.

 

To assess the repair needed please email some images of your bag or accessory to info@mariasbag.com so that we can liaise with our repair team and let you know how best to proceed. Be aware that repairs can take 6 to 8 weeks to complete, but we will always endeavor to have them back to you as soon as possible.

 

SOLD OUT

One of the main characteristics of our products is that they are one-of-a kind accessories and it’s very difficult to produce another identical item. If the product is “Sold out” but you are interested in a particular region or style please email us at info@mariasbag.com regarding our next collection. We do not accept pre-orders or waiting list at this time.

 

PRODUCT CARE

We recommend the following actions to care for and to ensure the longevity of your MARIA’S BAG handbag:

 

  • Respect its elegant lines by not overloading it and by avoiding weight pressure as this may damage its shape.
  • Avoid exposure to sun or moisture as well as contact with make-up or perfume.
  • Should your bag get wet, gently dry it with a soft and absorbent cloth.
  • To clean your bag wash gently by hand with soft detergent and let it dry in the shadow.
  • Avoid contact of light colored patent leather with darker materials, as this will cause color migration.
  • When not in use, store the bag upright in its protective bag. For further protection, line it with tissue and cover the straps with handkerchiefs
  • Metal chains and fastenings should be polished with a chamois cloth.

 

WARRANTY

MARIA’S BAG created this bag with the highest standards of design and quality.

The huipils used in this bag are created by skilled weavers with carefully selected materials. Each huipil is specially produced in the purest tradition to keep the millenary Mayan heritage alive and the process of weaving a huipil can take up to 6 months.

 

The leather used for this bag is natural and unique, slight imperfections are sometimes unavoidable and they guarantee the authenticity of the product due to the delicate nature of the leather. Please handle this bag with care.

 

Other characteristics such as the leather’s vulnerability to scratching, the color solidity and the lightening that may occur in the major traction points should be considered qualities and not defects.
