MARIA’S growth brought the need to expand our headquarters and production center to a new space with greater capacity.
Alida Boer’s vision was to create a sanctuary for the preservation of Guatemalan textiles where both visitors and collaborators could see the cultural and artistic value of these works of art.
An open space that promotes communication, creativity and collaboration between our team was designed. The dynamic layout allows the efficient distribution of spaces and facilitates the continuous expansion of our team in the new offices.
The colorful huipil that characterize us is the new focal point of our decor. We joined forces with the organization Safe Passage to deconstruct the huipil, forming from scraps the works of art that adorn our offices.
To celebrate this achievement, we invite our loyal customers, closest friends and the team responsible for the construction; to a small gathering with the presence of one of the most important figures of Latin American fashion, Sara Galindo; and the master weaver of Chichicastenango, Juana Xiloj.
The intimate cocktail had a select menu prepared by the team of Mon Coeur from the acclaimed chef Deborah Fadul and Chandon champagne .
We have big plans for the year and we are very excited about this new chapter.
